Stoneware Bowl

John Leach, eldest grandson of renowned potter Bernard Leach and son of David Leach, continues the family tradition at Muchelney Pottery on the Somerset levels. Master potters Nick Rees and Mark Melbourne work alongside John to produce the range.

Each piece is hand-thrown using local clays then wood fired in the kiln at temperatures exceeding 1300°C which creates the distinctive ‘toasted’ finish.

Each bowl is unique with its own identity, influenced by the firing technique. An invaluable addition to any kitchen with a multitude of uses - soup, side salad, cereal, puddings.
